Teemu Perttunen on valmistunut Lahden Ammattikorkeakoulun Muotoiluinstituutista sisustusarkkitehdiksi. Parhaillaan hän viimeistelee lopputyötään Tukholman Konstfackiin, jossa hän opiskelee tilasuunnittelun ja huonekalumuotoilun MA-ohjelmassa. Teemua kiinnostaa haastaa valloillaan olevat trendit ja konventiot ja hakea niihin uudenlaista näkökulmaa. Häntä kiinnostaa epätäydellisyyden estetiikka ja esineiden inhimillistäminen hallitun epäsymmetrian kautta, jolloin tuotteet heräävät henkiin omina hahmoinaan ja persoonallisuuksinaan.
Teemu Perttunen is an interior architect with a degree from the Lahti University of Applied Sciences Institute of Design. He is currently completing his thesis for the Master’s programme in spatial and furniture design at the Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm. Teemu is interested in challenging prevailing trends and conventions, and approaching them from new perspectives. He is interested in the aesthetic of imperfection and the humanisation of objects through controlled asymmetry, which makes the products come to life and take on their own shape and personality.
