Fanni Laukkanen - UUNO
Uuno on alun perin kahvilaan suunniteltu tuoli, joka tekee kahvilakokemuksesta huolettomamman, sillä henkilökohtaiset tavarat voi jättää istuimen alle säilöön. Tuoli on nostettavissa selkänojasta pöydän reunalle siivouksen ajaksi. Selkeä muotoilu mahdollistaa kalusteen sovittamisen monenlaisiin tiloihin, ja säilytyslokeroa voi käyttää eri tarkoituksiin.
Fanni Laukkanen on kolmannen vuoden sisustusarkkitehtuurin opiskelija Aalto-yliopistossa. Suunnittelussa hänelle on tärkeää selkeys, esteettisyys, laatu ja pitkäikäisyys sekä useiden eri toimintojen yhdistäminen harmonisesti yhteen tuotteeseen.
Uuno is a chair which was originally designed for use in cafés. It makes the cafe experience more care-free as one’s belongings can be placed inside the seat. The chair can also be hung from the table top by its back rest during cleaning. The chair fits many different kinds of interiors due to its simple design and the storage space can be used for various needs.
Fanni Laukkanen is a third year Interior Architecture student at Aalto University. For her, the most important factors in a good product are simplicity, aesthetics, quality and longevity, and the combining of several different functions harmoniously into one product.
