She is studying furniture design for the fourth and last year at Novia University of Applied Sciences in Turku. Satoshi Yoshida
SATOSHI YOSHIDA

Satoshi Yoshida was born in Osaka Japan 1982. In 2010, he graduated with a Master of Arts in furniture design from Aalto University School of Art and Design. Yoshida has successfully participated in exhibitions such as Stockholm Furniture Fair Greenhouse 2009 and has won several Design competitions e.g. first prize in EU-Japan design competition 2006.

Mikko Koskinen & Miko Laakso
MIKKO KOSKINEN & MIKO LAAKSO

Koskinen and Laakso have a background in product design and development. They are both located at Aalto University's Design Factory, where Mikko is currently working as a product designer at Powerkiss and Miko is working on his PhD on interdisciplinary cooperation in the early phases of product development. They believe that design and engineering share the same basic principle; the product is perfect when there is nothing that can be removed without compromising the value to the user.

MAIJA PUOSKARI

Maija Puoskari got her MA in applied art and design at the University of Art and Design in 2009. She works widely with various design and exhibition projects. Puoskari’s tile collection for Tulikivi, the world’s largest manufacturer of heat-retaining fireplaces, was launched in 2010. Puoskari works and lives in Helsinki.
