Tong Ren - FLOW
Flow on kaksipuolinen kudottu matto, joka sopii sekä kotiin että julkisiin tiloihin. Se tuo tilaan kaksi eloisaa pintaa. Kuten vesi joessa tai ruoho maassa, Flow on voimakas, mutta rauhallinen.
Tong Ren opiskelee Teollisen ja strategisen muotoilun MA-ohjelmassa Aalto-yliopiston Taiteiden ja suunnittelun korkeakoulussa. Aloitettuaan opinnot Helsingissä, Tong on inspiroitunut suomalaisesta luonnosta, kulttuurista ja muotoilusta.
Flow is a two sided woven carpet for both home and public spaces. It brings two vivid surfaces into the room. Like the water in the river or the grass on the ground, the Flow carpet is loud but peaceful.
Tong Ren studies at the Industrial and Strategic Design MA program at the Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture. During his studies in Helsinki, Tong has been inspired by Finnish nature, culture and design.
