Mahla-karahvin idea on lähtöisin saunahalosta, johon on jäänyt oksantynkä.

The idea for the Mahla carafe came from a wooden sauna log with a branch stub still attached to it. The word Mahla refers to sap, the natural drink produced by birch trees, beautifully connecting the shape and function of the carafe together. The solid body of the carafe remains constant, but the branch-like nozzle varies in shape and color, just like in nature.
